Glide silently over the water in a sleek sea kayak while experiencing the San Juan Islands from the best vantage point. No kayaking experience is neccesary for our 3 hour tours. All of Shearwater’s trips are led by professional experienced guides. We use stable two person kayaks, and keep our groups small. We provide all necessary instruction and paddling gear.

Day Trips
Explore the Outer Islands of the San Juan Islands as we set off on our full day trips. Starting in the morning we will head out to Jones Island and explore this beautiful marine State Park. After lunch on the beach we continue on with a paddle through the wasp islands. On the way we often encounter harbor seals, bald eagles, otters and harbor porpoise. So pack a lunch and join us for a memorable trip kayaking the waters of the Salish Sea.
